Laura Wong, PharmD,
Laura Wong is the pharmacy director at SCIHP. She joined SCIHP in 2007 as a staff pharmacist. As the pharmacy director, she is responsible for maintaining the highest quality pharmaceutical care at SCIHP. In addition to her managing duties, she continues pharmacist duties, which includes medication dispensing, verification and patient counseling. Laura is also a member of the SCIHP’s Chronic Pain Committee and provides medication pain management to patients and facilitates the coordination of care between the patients and their primary care providers.
Laura earned her doctor of pharmacy degree at UCSF School of Pharmacy and her clinical pharmacist experience at the VA Martinez specializing in hospital administration and geriatrics. She returned to school in 2003 and earned her business degree from University of Phoenix.
On her off time, she enjoys reading, watching mindless television and traveling whenever possible.
Stan Green, RPh, MBA
Stan Green joined SCIHP in 2000 as a pharmacist. Besides facilitating patients with their medication issues, Stan is also an active member of the clinic’s emergency response team, called IHERT. At SCIHP he is known as the “Master of Disaster” for his relentless commitment to emergency preparedness and building clinic capacity to provide patient care during an emergency. He serves on the Diabetes Education Advisory Committee, Diabetes Interdisciplinary Team, is a preceptor for student pharmacists and has taught pharmacy technician students at the Santa Rosa Junior College. In addition, on a day to day basis he coordinates pharmaceutical care between patients and their medical providers, nurses and healthcare professionals.
Stan earned his pharmacy degree from Creighton University in the great city of Omaha, NE and his MBA from Pepperdine University. Prior to moving to Sonoma County, Stan served as President of the Ventura County Pharmacists Association, was a provider of accredited continuing education and volunteered with the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association. His special interest is in Metabolic Syndrome.
He has been married for 25 years, has three daughters and a 10 year old “Tater Tot”. His hobbies include: CERT, amateur radio, walking, nature and spending time with his family.
