Introduction

The department consists of WIC and Senior Nutrition staff, Registered Dietitian, Senior Program Coordinator.

Services

The nutrition program provides an expansive list of services:

WIC is a Supplemental food program for low to medium income families that offers Nutrition Education, Breastfeeding counseling and vouchers for healthy foods. Click here to see if you might be eligible or call our office. We are located inside the Nutrition Department of the clinic at 144 Stony Point Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. WIC is available by appointment or you may drop in on Tuesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. WIC is an equal opportunity provider.
We have two congregate meal programs for eligible seniors, one is located in Sonoma County and one is located in Point Arena.
A supplemental food program is also available for eligible seniors at Stewarts Point (Kashia), Dry Creek, Cloverdale, and Lytton Rancherias.
The Nutrition Department also offers a wide variety of specialized programs and/or counseling for many conditions, including, but not limited to: diabetes management, weight control, child obesity and many other health conditions.
